Still glad Kenny posted it or I may have worked a lot harder to find the information. BUT, some people don't want to mess with it and would rather just click a button. I think I'm like accidmav, however, if I don't have to have a mod to do the job, I'll do without it and accomplish the same result. If it IS present, remove the 'BGS_LOGO.BIK' (delete the words on the line in skyrim.ini, not the actual file in your skyrim folder) and save but figured it might help others using SKSE to know that.Īgain, to be clear, you ADD if it is not present: sIntroSequence= ~ Hope that helps if you hadn't already figured it out your post was kinda old. Also, if you're using both the NEXUS updater AND subscribing at The Workshop, you will need to run the NORMAL launcher to update your 'subscribed' mods from Workshop FIRST.
For some reason SKSE sometimes has trouble launching STEAM (STEAM issue I'm sure). PS: sure it's actually a CTD and not just the fact that you don't yet have STEAM running when you double click the SKSE launcher. We only need to see their logo the FIRST time or at least give us an IN GAME option to skip the 'advertisement'.
You can ONLY imagine why Bethesda would remove it, but companies need to get off their high horses. Thanks is a slight difference now, you have to ADD that line to the general section, for many people it's not there at all and if it's absent, the default takes over.
